My Story
Graduating with my masters of science and earning my certificates to teach childhood education and students with disabilities was just the first stepping stone to a life long career I knew I was meant to follow. As a special education teacher, a behavior consultant, a mother, and a life coach, I have experienced many facets of life in which my knowledge and expertise has grown from.
Working with children with disabilities since 2007 has allowed me to develop the tools to not only adapt my skills to better suit their cognitive, social emotional, and/or communicative needs but to also focus on their strengths and continue to build upon them. Working in several types of classrooms settings has allowed me to work with children who require many different supports to be successful. I have been fortunate enough to further grow in my career and become a behavioral consultant. This has allowed me to expand my training and focus more on helping children become more functional and socially acceptable around others.
Being able to work with families from my school based setting has also allowed me to develop a love for working closely with parents to further expand their own skill sets to better support their children. Becoming a life coach has broadened this part of my career and allows me to support parents by working directly with them in their homes by providing them with knowledge and coaching them to develop the skills they need to increase their child's happiness and independence.
Last and certainly my favorite, being a mother to my own little girl has allowed me to be on both sides of the coaching relationship. Requiring support for my own child early on, I can relate to the internal need and fight to help your child succeed as long as someone is willing to show you the path.

This is my story and I have so much more to share... and I'm hoping you'll tell me yours too!
